and the history of the buildings that Link Up has developed in.
We have also been granted funding to offer 8 week courses in Reiki, Meditation and Yoga over the coming year. These will be free to Link Up members and a brilliant opportunity to learn some skills in self-practice for us to use at difficult times.
We will have more detailed information on dates, times soon.
We are excited that Feel Good Fridays sessions start this week. Our FREE 8 week course offers women and their children (aged 1-5) a chance to develop new skills to enjoy together at home and to start off the weekend feeling positive through:
- Yoga – fun ways to stretch together
- Meditation – mindfulness matters
- PEEP – play through crafts
- Bookbug – discovering the joy in books
And as if that wasn’t enough – you get a FREE yoga mat too. Give us a call on 661 9292 to find out more.
Link Up Women’s Support Centre is delighted to announce the launch of Feel Good Fridays in the New Year. Feel Good Fridays are a fun way for mothers and children (aged 1-5) to develop relaxation skills and bond with each other. The sessions will take place on 8 Friday mornings from January – March and aim to build confidence in practice through repetition over 4 sessions of each of the following: yoga, meditation, PEEP and Bookbug.
Please feel free to download the Feel Good Friday poster and to contact us with any enquiries or to make a referral.
At our AGM this year we will be considering a proposal to convert LUWSC’s status to a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). This decision requires a majority decision by Link Up members who are encouraged to attend.
